The Problem
A UAE entrepreneur wanted to connect local SMEs with customers hunting for discounts — but needed a single bilingual platform handling three different user types (partners, customers, admins), two different payment/subscription models, and fraud-proof in-person redemption, built to scale from day one.

What We Built
A full-stack platform — Next.js frontend (Vercel), Node/Express + MongoDB backend on AWS EC2. Dual onboarding flows for partners and customers, Stripe-powered memberships and subscriptions, a referral system with digital payouts, an admin analytics dashboard, full Arabic/English localization, Google Maps-based offer discovery, and a barcode system letting partners validate discounts instantly with zero manual verification.
Our role
Symentum led the backend architecture and frontend integration — connecting the UI to APIs, payments, and redemption logic — with a frontend developer on our team handling the interface build.
The Result
50+ partners onboarded during pre-launch alone — before the platform even went live. A scalable, bilingual, dual-sided marketplace ready to expand across UAE industries and regions.
